DTX Pro Module

The most critical part of the electronic drum, the module (or the brain), determines the whole set’s sound quality and other functionalities. These functionalities include the ability to modify and customize the drum sounds, the ability to record through various means, and of course the various other essential functions such as a metronome, dynamic control of the drumset, sensitivity of the drum pad, and even volume difference between your plugged-in audio vs. drum sound.

With the improved performance of the new DTX Pro Module, users can choose from a wide variety of sounds with a high level of customization. All drum sounds are recorded from actual drum kits and are powered by high-performance sound engines to help recreate the sound of the actual drums.
There are also newly added kit modifier knobs for you to modify the drum sounds on the fly to mimic different recording environments.

*Video features DTX6K3-X but the module used is the same as DTX6K2-X

Yamaha RHH135 Hi Hat

Having a responsive hi-hat is one of the biggest challenges for all drum manufacturers. Being one of the most abused parts of the electronic drums, the ability to accurately capture the opening and closing of the hi-hats consistently over a long period of use has been a significant problem for most manufacturers. A vast range of hi-hats options affects performance, including – sensitivity of opening and closing, the sensitivity of pressure on the hats, foot splash, all of which are addressed by the Yamaha RHH135, and can be found on both the DTX6K2-X and all Yamaha flagship electronic drum models.

Yamaha is one of the few companies that has a leading edge in this area. With the RHH135 hi-hat pads, students can expect a more consistent and accurate response to the hats compared to lower-end models (even within Yamaha’s), with much higher durability.

3 Zone Proprietary TCS Snare Pad

Having a good response, rebound, and texture on the pads is paramount to deliver a complete practice experience and to reduce the amount of effort required to translate your practice onto the acoustic drums.
Regular rubber or silicone heads, as of those similar to practice pads, are great but hardly able to mimic the response of the real drums.
Electronic drums have come a long way from standard rubber pads, and Yamaha’s Textured Cellular Silicone Pads is one of the top choices for drummers worldwide.
The TCS pad has a good rebound, much lesser than the standard rubber pads, and because of its texture, it feels more like a drumhead than mesh heads. This allows a much more accurate response than its predecessors and is one of the highly sought-after products for electronic drums.

Professional Recording with Dedicated App

Having a great user experience is one of the key points why we love Yamaha E-drum products. Developed specifically for their recording module, the Yamaha EAD10, the Rec N’ Share app allows users to use a single app to Record both audio and video and edit the on the go.
With the newly released DTX6 module, all you need to do is to download the Rec N’ Share app, connect the module to your phone, load it up with your song, and your good to go.
The app would use the camera function of your phone and the audio from your DTX6 drum module to record the audio and video simultaneously. You can also share directly to all popular social media platforms through the app, creating ease of access and a super-fast workflow for creating social media content.
