Why we recommend it
Overview
Featuring 16.5″ length of Red Hickory, these sticks can deliver great power and a fatter tone. The material selected is also denser and has greater sustainability than standard drumsticks, which means that it can go on longer, even if you are a hard hitter. Coupled with an Acorn tip, this build allows a fuller tone from the drums with minimal effort.
The extended reach also allows the player to reach further while maintaining posture and having the versatility to hold from the standard grip position to the end of the stick.
Red Hickory
Also known as heartwood, the Red Hickory is extracted from the center of a tree species called Carya Ovalis. It is the oldest and most dense part of the tree, giving it its power and durability over the common White Hickory. The natural slight red hue from the wood derives from the minerals absorbed over a long time through the soil.
This combination makes it perfect for sticks, and Los Cabos is one of the few companies that produces Red Hickory Drumsticks.

Acorn Tip with Extended Reach
Specially selected due to their configurations, these Signature sticks feature a slightly longer body while maintaining a balanced weight distribution. It allows the player to have a further reach and hold the stick further towards the back to generate more power without losing balance and technique.
Acorn tips are selected as well to deliver more tone to your playing effortlessly.
